About Barraug Books and Curriculum
Deborah is the co-CEO of Barraug Books and Curriculum. A National Board Certified Teacher, Deborah has been teaching for 31 years. She currently teaches AP English Language and Composition and Honors British and American Literature. Her newest venture is teaching first and second-year composition and English Education Graduate courses at the Kennesaw State University. Deborah earned an Ed.D. in Secondary Education at KSU in 2017, an M.A. in Information Technology from Florida International University in 2001, and a B.A. in English from Florida State University in 1987.
Carlos is the co-CEO of Barraug Books and Curriculum. A National Board Certified Teacher, Carlos has been teaching for 32 years. He currently teaches AP English Literature and Composition, AP English Language and Composition, American Literature, and 9th Grade Literature. Carlos works in a bilingual program where half of his content is delivered in Spanish. Each summer, Carlos scores AP English Language essays for the College Board. He also serves as a College Board Consultant for English Language and Composition. Carlos earned an M.S. in Urban Education, focusing on TESOL from Florida International University in 2007 and a B.A. in English from the University of Florida in 1986.
